The Akureyri Art Museum in Akureyri, Iceland runs an artist-residency programme open to international applications.
Selected artists receive studio accommodation and may present a small exhibition during their stay.
The residency is supported by the municipality of Akureyri and is embedded in the cultural hub of “Art Street” (Kaupvangsstræti) in northern Iceland.
It offers a unique opportunity to work in a serene environment surrounded by nature, while connecting with a vibrant local arts community.
